An Ode to the Unchanging God !

I stand in complete awe of Him who must be obeyed.

The eternal One, He that lives in the eternal now.

The Grand Weaver. The Great Orchestrator. The Ancient of Days. The Unchanging God in the midst of a changing human civilization.

My words, my life, whatever I think I own, real or perceived are not enough to ascribe the required exaltation to Him who dwells in eternity.

The world and human civilization exist in a constant state of transition.

Today, we live in a time of fast paced change. We are caught up in our own omnipotence, materialism and our own craftiness.

All the things that we invent will end up trapping us.

Life is real, life is earnest. But the grave is not its goal. Dust thou art and to Dust thou returns was not spoken of the soul. The return to the dust is as a portal through which our current encasement is shed and we pass through to life after.

There is an eternal perspective that is real. And we have to understand the two different paradigms of living for the now and facing disappointment, or living for eternity and understanding what our ultimate appointment is.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of our Lord will last forever.

The Word of our God King is eternal and unchanging. It was timely when it was given. But it is timeless in it’s implications.

Lord, when I view and consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained and established, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of earthborn man that You care for him?

You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet.

Yet you have made him but a little lower than heavenly beings, and you have crowned him with glory and honor.

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.

Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.

Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.

I know you will continue to work in me both to will and do of your good pleasure in Jesus name. Amen. Selah!
