An incredibly terrifying scene, event and thought.
The Ancient of Days, The Uncaused Cause, The Uncreated Creator, The Uncontainable King Himself, took on mortality and the form of His created.
To endure and subject Himself to indignities, humiliation and battery at the hands of us, the frail, mere mortal creatures of His Hands.
Just so He may implement our salvation from the grip of eternal darkness and damnation.
This is a deeply unsettling scene and thought.
The hosts of Heaven must have watched in unparalleled amazement. All of creation at the time must have shuddered at such an event.
All so that I could be rescued, plucked away from the kingdom of darkness and reconciled back to Himself.
All so as to bring about the course correction of the entire human race.
What is man oh Lord that thou art mindful of him ? The son of earthborn man that You care for him?
Our belief, faith and redemption can only be founded on this sacrifice, can only be founded on this Supremely selfless act of Love.
Can only be founded on His recklessly indescribable and humanly inconceivable Love.
