What is the power of death. The power of death is in sin. Sin, disobedience of the Father. Sin is rebellion and a break away from our Source, our Life, our Essence and the Substance upon whom we are designed and built. It brought decay, rot and a steady deterioration and diminishing of our life force.
Not just for man, but for all of creation that was handed over to man at our creation by the Father God. As is written, the whole of creation groans and yearns deeply for the manifestation and revealing of the resurrected coheirs of Christ. Fellow sons of God. Creation groans in pain to be reborn and restored from the weight of decay by death, at the revealing of the sons of God through our risen Christ.
He who alone conquered death and the decay it brought. Through whom we by His death and resurrection have also conquered sin. By which death reigns. Through Him, by Him, we have conquered sin and by extension death.
As it is written in the life giving, eternal Word of our God-King:
“[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]”
Philippians 3:10 AMPC
With emphasis on that I may by extension come to know and understand and appreciate and be grounded by personal experience, in the Power that outflows from His resurrection and the significance and influence that it has and exerts over us as believers in this eternal, long hidden, mysterious plan and purpose of our Almighty God-King. His purpose for reconciling us back to the life and state of being that He planned for us from the very beginning.
The principalities of this world did not know, else they would not have killed our Lord and Savior. Whew. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Almighty Father. They gloated in their perceived victory, but had no idea.
The Almightiness of our God-King remained and remains at work, as it has always been since the beginningless beginning.
Also, it is written in His timeless, eternal, life giving scripture:
“Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men. [Ps. 68:18.]”
Ephesians 4:8 AMPC
He led “captivity captive”. The powers of darkness, death, destruction through sin, were vanquished and led captive by our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. He neutralized and deactivated the influence, effect, impact and power of sin, decay and death over us once and for all.
And gave us the gift of His Holy Spirit. The same Spirit that raised Him (Jesus) from the dead. The same Spirit that now indwells us when we believe and accept and receive.
That same Spirit, now quickens, energizes and powers our inner self and mortal body to function in and with the new eternal, indestructible and ever-radiant and Love-filled life of the Almighty God-King to which He reconciled us.
Oh my goodness. I scream at the understanding of these Truths! I am indestructible. I have the Power of creation coursing through my veins and arteries.
I have so much creativity, intelligence and wisdom serenading me on a regular.
I am beyond excited. I will continually and consistently confess, stand on, maintain and cultivate a mind-set that is based and grounded on these supernatural, supernormal, beyond human Truths.
He is my Resurrection and my new Life, now and always!
