He made our hearts and He alone understands everything that we do.
The human spirit is the candle light of our God-King, exposing our every hidden motivation. Nothing is hidden from Him that made us.
He alone understands how our hearts and minds work and how to forge our hearts to align with His purposes.
He is the Potter and we are the clay. Based on these truths, even logic dictates that we yield to Him for help. That we look to and completely depend on Him to bring about transformation in us.
The Psalmist took the fight to God in Chapter 119:73, by saying: Lord, you made me, you created me, now give me the sense to follow your instructions, your truths, your way and your life.
It is He that works in us to orchestrate the deep yearnings and desires both to will and to do, execute and implement His good pleasures and purposes.
Our primary job is to yield, acknowledge Him and rely on Him.
Rely on Him to initiate a lifestyle that is built on practically guiding and empowering our daily decisions, insights and actions.
Morning by morning He wakens us and opens, unlocks our understanding to His will.
If and when we completely let Him in.
Our Lord, our Savior, our God-King Jesus Christ.
Lord, you merely spoke, and the heavens were created.
You breathed your word, and all the stars were born.
When you spoke oh King of Kings, the world began!
It appeared at your command.
Lord, you have spoken your word of life into me, therefore unleash me.
Unleash in me your power, your life,
your love and your fullness. In the name of your Son, the Christ.
