Acts 17:24-28 TPT
[24] “The true God is the Creator of all things. He is the owner and Lord of the heavenly realm and the earthly realm, and he doesn’t live in man-made temples.
[25] He supplies life and breath and all things to every living being. He doesn’t lack a thing that we mortals could supply for him, for he has all things and everything he needs.
[26] From one man, Adam, he made every man and woman and every race of humanity, and he spread us over all the earth. He sets the boundaries of people and nations, determining their appointed times in history.
[27] He has done this so that every person would long for God, feel their way to him, and find him—for he is the God who is easy to discover!
[28] It is through him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, ‘Our lineage comes from him.”
Such inspired eloquence.
Such Spirit-filled words.
Words spoken in demonstration of Spirit and of His Power.
Paul, introducing the “unknown” God to the leadership council of Athens.
His short but Spirit-led synopsis of human history, guided and orchestrated by the Almighty, is a masterpiece in the unpacking of the unknown King of Kings to the unbelieving world.
One man, moved deeply by the godlessness around him, passionately conveyed and articulated the essence of the Great Orchestrator, #TheChrist, and His invisible bond with humanity, inspiring an entire city to turn to God.
For those who believe, we have this same boldness, this power, this wisdom, and eloquence by the same Holy Spirit.
We believe; therefore, we also speak.
We do not give up on or abandon any man.
All people seek. All people seek the “unknown” God, even if they are not yet aware of it.
He, the Almighty, has planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the heart of man [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.
He has done this so that every person would long for Him, feel their way to him, and find him—for he is the God who is easy to discover!
It is through Him that we live and function and have our identity.
Our lineage comes from him.’
#TheChrist is the man whom He has designated the solution to the human condition.
And the proof given to the world that God has chosen this man is this: He resurrected Him from among the dead!
We hail #TheChrist.
We hail the Almighty King of Kings.
We believe in #TheChrist.
And we receive Him as Lord!
