A Conversation with the Almighty!

[OH, I know, I have been rash to talk out plainly this way to God!] I will [in my thinking] stand upon my post of observation and station myself on the tower or fortress, and will watch to see what He will say within me and what answer I will make [as His mouthpiece] to the perplexities of my complaint against Him.

In the multitudes of my thoughts and perplexities within me, I will speak. I will speak to Him who is the all-knowing God. And I will wait to hear what answers He will give within me.

I find myself locked in the inescapable grip of the GrandWeaver Himself.

Only He can keep me and save me from the emotional and psychological exhaustion that comes from the all out assaults we encounter every minute of everyday against our soul and spirit.

They that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!

No man can keep themselves. There comes a time when only the deepest residing waters of His life giving Word, drawn out from within us can bring the strength and quickening required to keep standing in His Word.

Where could I go from Your Spirit oh Father? Or where could I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I go underground, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me, Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You.

The Words I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are Life says our High Priest. Who Himself was touched by our multiple feelings of infirmity and assaults of temptation but yet was without sin.

By strength shall no man absolutely prevail.

I speak these words to you, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you have tribulations, trials, distress and frustrations.

But be of good cheer, be certain, undaunted, confident.

I have overcome the world and deprived it of power to harm you. So says our High Priest who died and rose and has ascended and consistently makes intercession for us. Jesus! So shall it be.
