Our Father Desires Lasting Love.

Our King, the Grand Weaver has a controversy and a pleading contention against the people.

 

Because there is no faithfulness, love, pity and mercy, or knowledge of our God and King [from personal experience with Him] in the land.

 

All this cussing and lying and killing, theft and loose sex, sheer anarchy, one murder after another! And because of all this, the very land itself weeps.

 

But don’t look for someone to blame. No finger pointing! It is we who are to blame.

 

Because we’ve turned our back on the knowledge of the Holy, He has turned his back on us.

 

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.”

 

Hosea 4:6 AMPC

 

But there is a way back to Him.

 

Our Father desires lasting love, not more religion. He wants us to know and be deeply acquainted with Him, not go to more prayer meetings. As much as we love prayer meetings.

 

“For I desire and delight in dutiful steadfast love and goodness, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of and acquaintance with God more than burnt offerings.”

 

Hosea 6:6 AMPC

 

His overriding objective is that we understand and recognize His will and loving desires for us more strongly and clearly.

 

How is this achieved in light of contemporary culture?

 

By fixating on Him to the point of being transformed from the inside out by the renewing of our minds by the instructions of His Word that brings understanding of His nature.

 

Then we start to recognize His revealed will for us.

 

“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.

 

Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

 

Romans 12:1‬2 MSG

 

There is an incredible transformative ability and power in His Word. By His help, we will take advantage of this living power.

 

He will work in us both to will and to do of His revealed will. His Word is Spirit. His Word energizes us, working in us to produce His revealed will.
